Have you ever wondered how events happen in our lives and we are unable to understand them. Was it fate I became a Police Officer, and later a Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Each occupation were poles apart. Was my life destined to follow this pathway? Are we wired to perform certain jobs in our lives or is there a power to guide us to our endeavors?
This is a story of my life.
These questions alarmed me in a way I needed to dig deeper into my soul to discover the journey through my life.
A number of friends have read the first draft of this story and their replies were: very interesting— great story — couldn’t put the story down.
Many times when different events happened in my life I put the event down as — it must have happened for a reason. Do we know behind each event there isn’t an invisible power directing our life? I ask the question many times through this book.
Before writing these memoirs, many thoughts puzzled me. I dug deep into my soul to discover the true journey. Was my life mapped out from the beginning guiding me to my destiny?
In the final analysis of my life, at least my family will have a record of what happened to their father and grandfather. How he lived, who he loved, and importantly how he never gave up on anything he did during his life.
